Gökçeovacık Old Farm House

If you want to be away from technology, buildings, noise and stress and to be at one with nature then Gökçeovacık is the right address for you!

This farm house is on the edge of the forest in an elevated position with stunning views between the trees. You can enjoy a range of organic produce from the village including bread, milk, yoghurt, eggs, figs, grapes, butter, olives, olive oil etc. and delivery can be arranged.

Gökçeovacık is in the mountains about 8 km from the Göcek, one of the most sort after yachting areas in the Eastern Med with its sophisticated bars and restaurants offering both international and local cuisines. Close to Göcek is a quiet sandy beach at Inlice – almost unknown to the tourist trade. Other places to visit include Fethiye, Dalayan and a must is the twelve island tour by boat from Göcek.

Access to the property is really only by car – and car hire can easily be arranged for you together with transfers to and from Dalaman Airport, some 40 minutes distant. The English speaking owner takes great pleasure in looking after his guests and you will very quickly become a friend and feel part of the family. His aim is to ensure your happiness when staying in his houses – even more important than money he says!

The house was built of stone in 1950 by the current owner’s father and at that time was the height of luxury but might now be considered as nostalgic! Having said that it provides excellent comfortable accommodation with two bedrooms, one a double and the other with two single beds. At the far end of the garden is a converted barn with an additional bedroom with two single beds

Designed for outdoor living, there is a balcony with great views – this balcony being a great place to enjoy a romantic evening watching the sun set over the distant mountains listening to the birds – to say nothing of the local wine
	In the garden is a plunge pool – no chemicals but fresh village water changed every few days and hammocks to while away a relaxing holiday.

Low Season (April May, October and November): £250.00 per week
High Season (June, July, August and September): £300.00 per week
